SmartAC

Coming into SmartAC, I was met with a product ahead of its time, but no design system, standards or even light mode. Dozens of Figma files, unnamed layers, and no consistency from page to page, app to website, or throughout the platform.
My kind of challenge.

Going from B2C to B2B

SmartAC had done a good job in explaining itself to the B2C market. Because the quality of SmartAC's sensors, apps and platform were so strong, Field Service Partners were clamoring for the solution. Our final design worked well at its key-goal: courting service partner customers and getting them excited.

One conversation

I personally took on the job to figure out and design MyTech, a fully integrated chat system seamlessly woven into the SmartAC platform. 91% of users preferred MyTech over the previous messaging tools, citing clarity, ease of use, and integrated workflows as standout benefits.

Order under the hood

Beneath all of that gorgeous design, however, was a sea of untamed chaotic waters. ACDocs was born from this. A big part of my role was not only to create these items or set-up the system, but making sure implementation was adopted.

Every partner, their own brand

Every brand has a primary color. My duty was to make sure every partner brand felt as great as SmartAC's. By mapping those named colors to our values, I created a clean, scalable, white-labeling powerhouse.
