ProductionCliq

A film and television production platform I co-founded: script, breakdown, stripboard, call sheets and a push-to-talk Walkie, designed over eight years as one connected system

Overview

ProductionCliq is the product I kept coming back to for eight years.

We set out to build one system where the script, the schedule, the call sheet and the radio all read from the same data, so that a decision made once reaches every department.

Two web screens: a stripboard of shooting days with one strip per scene, and a call sheet day view with colored time blocks from call to wrap. — Fig. 1: The stripboard and the call sheet day view, both read from the same schedule.

Four phone screens: a dark call sheet with a crew call time, a dark home screen of app tiles, a blue push-to-talk screen with 30 seconds remaining, and a Get Started channel screen. — Fig. 2: The 2013 iPhone call sheet app and the 2016 Walkie push-to-talk app.

Two web screens: a script with vertical shot lines beside the page, and a shotlist grouped into setups with status, time estimates and a storyboard frame. — Fig. 3: Shots lined on the script, and the shotlist.
