Mistbox

The companion app for an IoT device that mists the air around a home AC unit to cut cooling bills

Overview

Mistbox is a consumer electronics device that sits on a home air-conditioning unit, watches the environment around it, and mists the surrounding air when needed so the unit takes in cooler air.

When Mistbox needed an app to connect and control the device, my team designed and built it.

Our focus was simplicity and usefulness: connect, see what the box is doing, control it on the go.
