In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) is one of those things I get most excited about in the world of technology. Too often, those controls forget one central factor: the user is driving, so they can't search or fumble to find answers. In many ways, its more akin to industrial design than traditional app or website design.
Built for the road
Driver's don't have time to get confused or tap the wrong thing. In a vehicle, every second feels like an hour when you can't find what you need to. And the cost of poor controls can be catastrophic.
