Dead Last: No Escape
Being a kid of the 1980s, the rekindling of pixel-art based games was a welcome surprise. One of my lead developers had developed a catchy, cool play-mechanic for mobile phones, so I thought, “Hey, what if we made a zombie killing game!”
Dead Last was a labor of love, with much time spent creating pixel-based art, frame-by-frame animation, and a pretty kickass story.
I even named the main character, Anden Sureshot, after my son. That was a nice bonus.
